    Alright guys i know SEAAAAAAARRRRCHHH
Did came up with this off air society
    http://www.airsociety.net/forums/sho...lot-vs-e-level

What are some of your thoughts?

I like that the V2 is pressure based and dosent require mounting the leveling arms with the elevel...

So what do you guys think. a grand is steep but id rather just knock it out from the get go. go big go home??

The only required feature i need from any management is going to have to be the raise on start... maybe i have the only wife that is insane and cant drive but shes goign to need the raise on start... it is what it is so...

    also found this from ORT:
    http://openroadtuning.com/pages/air-101-management

    so E-level>V2...?

Q: Pressure Based or Height Based?
A: For us, the decision is simple - height based, always. Pressure based systems are air management systems which are reliant on pressures to achieve ride height. Pressure based system are extremely inaccurate and typically have an accuracy of +/- 5psi - don't know if we'd call that accurate. The biggest downfall of pressure based systems is their ability (or inability) to keep an accurate height at all corners of the vehicle. When weight is added to a vehicle, the air spring (bag) is compressed and the pressure sensor senses that the pressure has increased. While, actually, the only thing that has happened is the fact that you've added weight to the vehicle. The pressure based system will automatically auto-correct and lower the pressure in order to keep it within the preset spec. The problem lowering the pressure is now your vehicle is lower than before -- this means you can damage fenders, tires, wheels, etc. We believe that height based systems are the best way to manage your air springs. The AccuAir e-Level system uses height sensors mounted at each corner of the vehicle to measure height (and voltage) to keep the system within the desired preset spec. Believe it or not, the e-Level system can keep your vehicle height accurate within 1/8" of your desired preset.

I just finished installing my height sensors, and frankly it was way easier than I ever anticipated. It took me a couple hours working slowly, triple-checking everything, but it was one of the least difficult aspects of installing everything.

The accuracy is amazing as well, the whole 1/8" talk is no joke. I can measure my fender-to-ground, and it's always dead on.

After driving with it all installed, I decided that e-level was worth every penny

Money wise i dont think can be used to compair the difference i am pretty sure i just made my decision based off what i read off the ORT site. Pressure based systems are pressure based systems and when one adds any weight to the car in any particular corner its gong to drop that corner by equaling the pressure from the increase in weight... im not sure why i over looked that detail at all... it makes perfect sense. i guess i was just so wrapped around the 5 PTC fittings no extra wire no extra sensors just bam easy. You get what you pay for dosent exactly pertain to this either witch is a first for me. The cost of the two units is very comparable and i think that a lot of others that are new to Air like myself are going to look at the simplicity of the V2 and be sold on it not even thinking about the weight making inconsistant ride heights.

The only other thing that has me thinking is the AirRide Video where they show a mazda 3 on scales and it is able to spread load the weight pretty evenly between corners... im rushing this post so i might think about it and figure it out but if someone could shead some light on that for me id apprichiate it.

I love my v2 simple clean install and the wifey has no problems when driving the car... My choice was based on cost and install simplicity. In the end it's all up to you.

Even with the $1000 upgrade i would choose e-level. And now since they are very very similar in price, there shouldn't even be a question as to which you choose.

With the specials that we're running you can get into an e-level setup for a very fair price. Most people forget that the e-level comes in both touchpad and rocker switch configurations. The Rocker Switch setup is a really nice way to get into the e-Level without breaking the bank
