It's funny, I have actually heard several reports from well respected owners on s2ki saying the car actually drives more stable with less rear toe in (closer to 0), which would negate a majority of the premature tire wear.
Anyway, the car is like a Civic maintenance wise except it needs diff fluid every 20 - 30K, burns a little oil (although I have a freak that does not burn any oil) can wear soft tops where the metal rubs, and chews through rear tires if you have toe in.
I love reading people comment about this car that have never driven it, or have a little experience, it cracks me up. I think that is what keeps me coming back.
Feels like a Civic DX below 6K is my favorite, love it! Except for the shifter,, the xenons, the gearing, the seats, the sound, the driving position, the steering, the powered wheels, the clutch, oh yes, just like a Civic DX.
By this logic, driving a Ferrari 360 below 5000 RPM is like a driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Only on the interwebs.
