R32 is a better car. Plus when you own an NSX you are owning a Honda.

Not to mention that the NSX is for posers who can't "afford pal, Ferrari." It used cheap parts, only had 270hp, and stole styling from everywhere.

The only thing the golf32 has on the s2000 in this scenario is that it can haul 3 fat chicks...the s2000 can't even haul one...so if you like fat girls and boring cars Golf32...i bought the s2000

The MkIV R32 and B5 S4 are pretty much the best cars of all time.

The R32 won't even be able to haul fat chicks half the time since it will spend more time being repaired than anything else.

Except in any threads having to do with Mk4 anything. Those threads really bring out the dubtards.

I looked at the poll results and shook my head, I figured it would be a landslide win for the S2000 but I should have known better

I know my A6 is a POS. 4 speed auto, 2.8L V6 making like, what, 170 an 170 on a good day? 208k miles on it, stock height, crap brakes (but don't wanna splurge on better pads because why waste money on the Audi that could be used for the R), and had to replace the heater core just 2 weeks ago.

Only good thing is the Quattro and the fact that it's comfortable as ****.

ever seen a S2000 take home a studio full of Ikea?

    1 Entertainment unit
    1 Kitchen table w/ 2 stools
    1 Coffee table
    1 Side table

Ha, whenever vw destroys the line up in competition or argument, the trollface nsx card is drawn.

Simply to break the logic of the previous statement, that every r32 owner would want a nsx, consider this. I have a 12v faster than an r32 stock, and would never consider owning an nsx.

true, I have a 91 miata and that can't quite be replicated, but if you're big it can feel cramped at points, same in the S as well.

Ok if we wanted something to go to ikea and back I think I would take my wifes Tuscon instead of either R32 or S2000

Retarded R32 owners don't get the point

Why is this still going on? I own an R32 and would have zero problem owning an S2000 or NSX. In fact, I would go as far as to say that both are cars that I'd absolutely want to own at some point in my life. Problem?

Nope you're reasonable, which is a rarity IRL (maybe exaggerating) and even moreso on the internet.

Seriously. I owned an R32 and loved it. Having an R32 AND an S2000? Best of two very different worlds. Anyone who isn't blinded by the eternal badgewhore bullsh*t can see the merit in both.

    Honestly

I parked right next to an S2000 at work today and just thought to myself, how you could prefer a Golf over that is beyond me.

    I don't dislike the R32 btw.

R32+S2K= Perfect garage IMO. (Well a perfect garage that's less than 30k total)

I own a VW and 2 Honduhs currently. I think some of these paint chip eaters heads are exploding.

I own a Mk6 GTI and I did look at a few S2000s and Mk5 R32s before I picked my car up. For me, I prefer a Golf. That said, I only have one car right now, and I carry people in the back often enough that I'd rather have a backseat.

...but the real issue here is that, this question is assuming you already have a FWD/AWD car that's more practical in the winter, and people are still picking the R32. You're picking a hatchback over a pretty cool convertible, and it's the summertime.

(an R32 and S2000 really would be the best non-exotic garage ever IMO, seeing as I'm not a huge muscle car fan)

So to end this thread lets just say..........
If your a tiny small guy that likes the drop top and maybe into the whole look at me I'm in a convertible and my girl thinks my car is cute then a s2000 is for you.
If your into fat chicks and like to haul ikea furniture around in the snow then the r32 is for you.
apples and oranges its all about what needs you need meet and i think the op has a lot of post here to help him figure that out. Great job tcl people we really came together to help him out.
