Thread: Mk5 jetta gli with h&r (race) lowering springs problem

  1. 08-15-2012 04:01 PM #1
I installed the springs like 6 months ago. My GF is the driver of the car. She has scrapped the bottom of the car a couple times already and even ripped off the plastic undercover for the engine..

Is there any strong cover that i can buy to protect the oil pan and the underside of the engine? Because the jetta is sitting pretty low right now with those (race) h&r springs...
    Please let me know...

you can buy skid plates off ecs tuning I think or diesalgeeks.com. But my best advice is to probally get the gf some driving lessons.

diesel skid plate for $275.00 looks like the best priced one, anyone else make a skid plate?

Any cheaper options to protect the mk5 underside of the engine?
