Shoot, even the wheels look like something off a Hyundai/Kia...can't remember which car though. All in all, i love it!

EDIT- O wait, the Sonata right next to it... That's what it looks like.

Uh oh, if automakers start "copying" Hyundai designs, the universe might implode.

Maybe it looks that way normally as a joke?

And saying the Sonata back end looks like the Accord?... sigh.

And styling discussions aside, what are the odds that this Accord is more of a driver's car than the current gen?
Or is Hondyota just chasing Camries?

Side by side is hard to tell but you can't tell me you've never confused then in person. I did it all the time when they first came out.

Based on what i've read...this is supposed to be the sportiest accord ever and much more of a drivers car then the current accord. That said, there are also rumors floating around that Honda dropped the DWB Front Suspension...if that ends up being fact, i cant imagine it being sportier then a current gen accord....at least the road holding in real world driving and steering feel/feedback wouldnt be as good. And that really is the best thing about the Current Accord. The Steering Feel/ Feedback/Chassis are arguably the best in this class right now.

WHy can't the Accord be the Camry fighter and the TSX be the sporty version? Doesn't seem hard to me.

Also Vtec.net has some pictures of the Accord Coupe being snapped in a local Ohio neighborhood near the Honda plant.

Wow the sedan is seriously good looking.

Coupe I need to see more pics of to judge. Rear end sort of has a Porsche vibe with the new tail lights.

I think it looks good - the front reminds me of the fourth generation (a good thing in my mind).

I think the current Accord Coupe is the best Accord to date, as far as looks.

I like the rear, because it looks like a Hyundai Genesis. Who care who copy who? This is always happen (to any brand including American, European and Asian brand). Only people in TCL are so butt hurt about this. (or these racist only butt hurt when the Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean...) do the copying. ) Like i NEVER read any comment complaint about Ford Fusion look like a poor man Aston Martin. Why? Because racist?

As long as it is not a 95% clone like SOME (not all) Chinese cars. A new design with some "similar" design elements from others are ok by me. The most important is the new design has to look good as a whole. And it is not a easy task. Ford Fusion is an example for doing it right.

Honestly, I am glad that this new Accord rear look Gensis sedan. Or do you want it look like the current Accord, TL, RL, Civic, CR-Z, Insight, Crossturd...? In the other word, most current Honda design look like $#@$! It is better for them to get some idea from other brand.

I love the side view. I've never said that about an Accord, ever.

Why is it ok for Honda to copy Hyundai, but if Hyundai does something, they get crucified?

I've always thought the current Accord was a handsome car (especially the 2008-2010 models) but I just felt like they were lacking every where else compared to Gen 7, I also felt it was lagging in content next to competitors. I own an 07 Accord EX-L 5spd manual myself and its an excellent car. I absolutely love it. The styling of this new one looks to be an evolution of the current one, which I think is fine, but you can clearly see that the new one is smaller than the last Accord was. Its about the size of the current TSX I believe. The wheels on the LX are a bit too small for my taste but I'm sure the EX, Sport and Touring models are going to look great. Can't wait to see and drive one!

I *really* like the new sedan, and this is coming from someone who did NOT like the previous generation. The coupe looks a little weird, but not awful.

Did you also happen to notice that they are in chronological order? Pretty safe bet to ignore anything beyond one page.

I actually think it looks very nice because it's so unpretentious and free of clutter and decoration; it's certainly not sexy, but that's not the point. I wonder why they filled it with balloons so no one could snap a photo of the interior. Any need to be so cagey this late?

Meh. It's a refresh of the current car. So much for all that nonsense about it getting smaller and whatnot.

It looks fine, but it's hardly anything exciting stylistically.
