FS: 1988 Cabriolet

The time has come to sell my wife's cabby. No trades. $1800 obo. Located near York, PA.

First the bad. The odometer quit working so mileage is unknown. There is a small paint bubble on the rear driver's side. Exhaust is not hooked up to the downpipe but that can be fixed. I do not have the tool for the exhaust spring clamps. The brakes worked fine when it was parked but they quit working. They need flushed. It is also out of inspection. The window seals are also leaking somewhere. They need to be reposistioned.
The good. I put a new top on it 3 years ago. The rear brakes have been converted to disks. This was done with the proper porportioning valves from a 16v scirroco. I just did the timing belt and head gasket. The whole bottom end was replaced with a good donor. I am including the old bottom end(needs rebuilt), another spare block(really needs rebuilt) a digi 8v head, spare auto trans, and a spare fuel dizzy. This will come with 2 sets of wheels. The first is a set of steelies with good tires. The second is a set of snowflakes(pictured) with bad tires. Any other 8v stuff I have can go with it. The top has the plastic window in it. It is small enough that you could cut it out and put in the glass window though. Glass will be included.
