A/c not working after I clean my engine with water.

Let me explain a little bit about what's going on. There was a light flood at my house and did not do any damage to my car or any sign that water was around my car. But the next day my a/c had stop working since that day, after a month of driving with out a/c the air in the vents started to come out cold and it worked again and it all was normal again. 6 months later I decided to wash the engine with simple green and lightly water and dry the engine with arafat blower, then started the engine and had it sat for one hour to make sure the hear dry up any water in the engine. Next day a/c die again. 3 weeks and no a/c yet. Any suggestion where to start? Compressor is spining but no cold air coming out of the vents. Just normal temperature air.
