Picked it up today.. tired 2.0L 16v. Going to swap for a 1.9 TD AAZ in a week or two.

For now, I'm trying to figure out what I need to lower it. Does suspension from a mk3 golf or jetta fit? Or is it completely different being a B3?

    Thanks.

Look up the passat faq about the suspention.
If interested i have a complete set-up from a 93 passat diesel. Original aaz car.
Instrument cluster is unique to it. That is a one year only set-up/option in canada only.

    Let me know

I've mounted mk3 coils on a B4 wagon, I think there was a issue with the lower rear shock bolts, I can't remember if I used the passat or the mk3 bolts but it still went on no probs.

Also, where can I get a good grill? The flat grille looks pretty gay.

if you want to do something about the front mask on the b3; you do you own grille; buy some home made one; or spend money in europe for used aftermarket parts.
pretty much nothing in hte north american market for them ...

if you are swaping to AAZ then also go for a tdi gearbox.
older diesels have a very short geared transmission and the engine with some minor tweaks has the power to pull a better and taller transmission!

i have a CYP and i am happy.
