Coilovers, seriously. They are adjustable and they ride pretty smooth, at least my JOM's did on both of my cabbys.
Vogtland cup kit if you dont wanna go that route.
hey cabby owners,
i have a 86 cabby, that i would like to get lower. no coilovers, no air bags, it has 15x8 195/50/15, and a small duckbill. looking for some advice on a cup kit, springs shocks that type of low? it is a d.d. so i need som function. thanks
yes agreed, i have coilovers on my mk2 and i like the ride ect, but this is for my g.f. and she is 5ft with some 34dd and they bounce alot, and she hates my car becuse of the ride. so was thinking that the cabby would be heavier and might ride better, but she is against coilovers so looking for a little bit low with good ride handeling. looking at some h&r springs with bilstine shocks?
thanks for your advice.
Let me add that in my experience, "extremely low" and "daily driver" usually don't go well together. Be sure to check out the roads the car will travel on a daily basis to make sure you're not creating a bigger problem.
