Thread: 2007 gy6 swap ruckus. For sale or trade

  1. 08-16-2012 02:23 PM #1
For those of you that don't know. It's a Honda ruckus with a 150cc motor swap instead of the 50cc
I weigh 140 and have got it up to 70mph pretty easily
Motor only has about 400 miles on it and runs great
Custom motor mount stretches it about another 12 inches from stock

    Password jdm lowered seat
    Password jdm bar stem
    Password jdm BMW style bars
Password jdm gas tank bars with pegs
    Bride seat
    R6 spring shock setup
Upgraded 5 spoke wheels front and back
    Upgraded bigger front fork swap
Larger front and rear disk brakes
    K/n filter
    11 stator upgrade
Carb has been rebuilt and a little modified. Backfires and shoots flames

    Bad. But not really
Battery box was cracked by previous owner and epoxy backed up
Suspension is pretty stiff with the r6 setup. But it's not bad and handles quick
Turn signals do not work. Needs to be wired up
Needs new rear brake lever. Still has one but doesnt do the job to well

Price is $3500 or trade for crotch rocket. Gsxr r6 cbr sv650

    The stock ruckus was $1500
Motor swap itself was about $900
All the aftermarket parts are about $1000 in parts
    Then whatever labor was also.

This is a fun ride. Gets around 80mpg or more. It really does take off the line. Instant torque. Turns head everywhere and everyday. People ask me what it is all the time

    Location is Madison wi.

I like how you left the labor part out of the quote.

Awesome ruckus setup. As for the price...i just bought a brand-new ruckus a few months ago. Paid about $3000 out the door. I should have looked a bit more for a used one. I would've jumped all over yours for that price.
