    Been thinking of buying a projector but my room is about 10x10 is that to small for a projector?
    ???

    nah, it's not too small for one at all. but you'd need to look at short throw projectors in order to get any usable screen size with it.

    So I just measured my room it's 12ft instead of 10ft

    You definitely can use a projector, it just depends what size of image you want and if you care about being able to enjoy it with ambient light in the room or if you are OK taking the lighting down any time you want to watch a good picture. You can get an 80" Sharp flat panel for less than $3k nowadays.

    I got an Optoma HD180 from costco and it throws 1080p @ 100", and I've got a 12x12 room
    I bought it after reading avsforum reviews
