I bought some beetle head rests for my mk3 jetta but they don't fit. I know they need to be messed with, but the question is... What needs to be done?

    Please help.

Bought my jetta with these installed by PO.

Looks like the headrest tracks in the rear seats have to be ripped out and then the beetle headrests will slide in. When I bought the car these rear headrests giggled around a lot. I wrapped the poles with card board and taped them with duck taped. This stopped them from giggling around.

The fronts look like they were cut down so they are shorter but do fit in the tracks.

    Hope this helps.

if you only need the fronts I'm pretty sure you just have to cut down the metal legs on the headrest itself. They are too long to fit the stock guides in the seat.
