Hi I'm currently replacing the chain That snapped on my 2.0tfsi that joins the oil pump/balance shaft to the crank shaft.
Mine has snapped... I know I'm going to have to remove the crank pulley and the bottom cog for the cambelt so I can get the side of the engine off at location.. Is there anyone with elsawin or even better photos and a guide that could give me some guidance on this... What locking tools etc I will need? This is a kind of hopeful fix because I'm sure that the chain snapping leading to the engine running oil-less will mean there is some damage somewhere elsebut I'm going to give this a go first
Thanks
Alan
