I want that trailer hitch! I thought that you weren't supposed to tow with the Quattro system...

Would you please elaborate? I'd love to have a small receiver hitch on my next car to tow a small trailer (50lbs tongue weight - 300 lbs tow weight) with track tires and tools for the track. Other might want to carry bicycles, etc and on a 'vert, a rear receiver mount would be very convenient.
I'm new to the TT world... is there a MK2 hitch available that my web searching can't find and that's why it's a 'screwy' question, or is it 'screwy' because some idiot might try to tow a 5,000 lb trailer with a car that is obviously unsuited. It might also be 'screwy' because one would think that a 4-wheel drive vehicle would be inherently better suited for towing, but I've read recently that Audi says that you should not tow with a Quattro-equipped TT because it is bad for the transmission (they neglected to mention any size/weight that might be acceptable, so I have to assume that they say NO towing, at all).

In particular, here is the pic with the trailer hitch installed on the mule: http://images.thecarconnection.com/m...00389840_m.jpg
I'd assume that they use it to connect up a small trailer with data collection information (GPS, speed, noise and acceleration sensors) that would be easily moved from one test car to another.
