Any ideas what's causing the air injection fault?

Aftermarket OXS sensors! ?

Car is bone stock. I believe it's on the original O2 sensors too.

Secondary Air injection is like the choke on old carbs, on cold start there is more fuel programed in and an air pump that blow air into the exhaust to help burn the extra fuel leftover on cold start. There are vacuum actuated valves on the plumbing of the system. The air pump (electric blower) pumps air into the exhaust system at the manifolds thru valves, the valves are actuated by vacuum, vacuum comes from the manifold to a vacuum switch (valve) controlled by the computer. If you have no flow on either bank of cylinders then both vacuum switch is not sending a vacuum to the valves to open so the air can flow in... Or the pump is bad and there is no air flow, check the fuses first. Sounds comlicated at first buts it's a simple system. I had many issues with secondary air on my old VR6 GTI. Check simple stuff first, like all the vacuum lines from the manifold to the vaccum switch then to the diaphram that actuates the valve at the manifold. Check to see if the pump runs at cold start. It should run about 90 seconds and then shut off. It's pretty eay to hear with the hood open. Hope this helps...
