    Need help weird noise!!!!!!

    ok so i bought a 97 1.8t B5 5 speed when i put it into first gear and take off as soon as the cluch engages i can hear a noise like gears eather catching or something grinding the clutch pedal is kinda high in the car but i wouldnt think a clutch going would make that noise and i dont notice and slipping so i have no idea someone please help

    You have glazed and/or hot spots. Drive it until it starts slipping all over the place, then get a new one.
    I'm dumb, but sometimes I accidentally say something smart...

    ya thats my plan this car needs so much that the noise isnt on the top of the list now because i blew out my rear struts from lowering it and my turbo is now making noise at a cold start
