Thread: Reusing brass injector insulators

    I just ordered new injector orings and the plastic shrouds, but totally spaced out and forgot to order the brass holders.

    Should I order some or can these be re used? I think the old ones will be fine and probably will come out good also because of my valve cover leak oiling them up. Just wanted to see if anyone else has re used these without any harm....

    Yep, I reused mine and they are fine. I asked the same question in the 8v forums, and they agree. As long as they seat correctly it should be fine to reuse the brass.

    Great! I wouldn't mind saving the extra $25!

    Right there with ya! You start digging in and you find all sorts of expensive things that need to be replaced. Nice to find something that can be reused.
