Cruise to eurocode would be better. Purems is shady. Recent and personal issue with that shop.

You guys like that shop? They're a little shaky.. . I'm close by and I won't go there for anything other than to purchase parts that they have in stock. Which isn't even very much at all. And their $90/hr labor rates??! Just my opinion but I think they'd have a greater influx of business if they just toned that down a little. Good thing I do 95% of my own work on my cars (bolt on).

There's another place that catered primarily to aircooled VWs in the past but recently opened up to watercooleds. I had them build a high compression/high revving 1.8L CIS-E 16v longblock that is going into my future MK1 (i know, still searching). They're a full blown machine shop and can build anything you ask for with any specification. They're the techs in the VW community San Diego in my honest opinion. I've been going to them for years building high performance aircooled motors including the 2332/turbo in my drag bug. Now if I can just get them to work on my e46 M3

    check them out.. http://www.paradisemotorsport.com/

I hate EuroCode with a PASSION. They tried to rip my brother off with his Audi. Then, if you ask technical questions and already have some knowledge, they get all defensive and treat you like crap. PureMS is 3 and a half hours from me, that's the only place I go besides Mike @ Canyon...

VW Paradise will always be my number 1. I go there just to shoot the sh*t over motorsports of all forms with the counter staff on a weekly basis. The techs, of course, are always busy but you can get good conversation of them at the drags. Always good times.

Yea, another plug.. . I'm about to drop my 2005 M3 off at www.sdmotorsports.com since they're literally a block away from my office. They work on EXOTIC euros (Audi R8s, Mercedes supercars, Lambos, Ferarri, etc) and charge $70/hr. And they say they can install my KW V1 coils in less than an hour.

I want to give PURE another chance given the fact that I have friends and coworkers who are regulars there. Maybe when I find my Mk1 chassis...
