My car just hiccuped on the way home, high idle (1,200rpm) at stops and it almost shut off on me but clutch/gassed it away and into my apt complex. Fluids at correct level, no leaks, belts are fine. Didnt overheat even though weather is about 100 degrees

After parking it in my spot, i shut off and then tried to restart but to no avail. It just cranks like it wants to start but just poops out. I am scratching my head because while driving there was no CEL or EPC light.

After waiting about 45 minutes, tried again and it started up fine. Idle was fine, -20HG vacuum, voltage was good. No CEL, No EPC, all good. Let it idle for about 20 seconds. Shut it down. Waited a few seconds, tried again, fired up again. Repeat.

Was it just an isolated incident or is a sign of things to come?

Cleaned and regreased EVO MS DV
    Replaced fuel pump and filter

Leaning towards crank position sensor. It begins to act funny after 30-40 minutes of driving and it dies as am coming to idle at a stop or light.
