So I saw an ad for a sunroof crank handle that had a working spring to hold it up. This got me thinking "Hey I wonder how hard it would be to fix mine?" So I went through and knocked out the pivoting pin and noticed the 'w' spring had broken.


So I was wondering if anyone knew of a good resource to locate a replacement spring. I believe the part is a BMW one and I did find the part # to be 54129634112. I found one online site, but they will only sell with a $18 shipping fee. I would be willing to buy a bunch if anyone was interested in fixing their sunroof handle
