My 2010 was ice cold. Do you have the temp dial to low?

I'm not overly impressed with my car's AC. It's summer in Texas, been 100-102 every day. My AC has to run wide-open to keep the car tolerable. My windows are tinted, my cabin filter is new, I replaced that crazy dash top diffuser with the tray. Based on other cars I've owned, this AC aint cutting it.
I admit I haven't taken the car in to get the system checked. Are these prone to get slow refrigerant leaks?
You JSW owners in southern climes have issues with your AC or should I bring this thing in for a pressure check?

I've got a 2012, and I live in Houston. It's ice-cold. My wife has the previous generation sedan, and that's ice cold as well. I'm guessing you should take it in for a test.

A buddy of mine has a set of gauges or a gauge or whatever one needs to check the system pressure. I'm going over in a while to have him look at it. Your responses point to my system having a problem. Thanks.

Car is white.
A/C was quite low. Took almost a full can of 134, it kicks ass now. When the weather cools off I'll begin looking for the leak.
I take back what I said about my A/C

My 2010 was doing the same thing. Took a lot of investigation to find out the compressor was on the fritz. $1800 repair.
