I have an 85 jetta td car that I want to yank the turbo setup from. I have a na motors intake so I put that on. What I need is to know and buy is an exhaust manifold that will bolt up and exhaust with whatever the stock toilet bowl/gasket this car has?

And putting these engines into mk1 shells I have never done before. I have extra pump brackets with the motor mount to swap, but wonder what do I do for the timing belt covers since the mk2 stuff won't mate up? I will need to buy 2 of those setups.

Then I am wondering about an alternator bracket for a non ac setup in the mk1 shell. Do I use mk2 or mk1 system?

You need a mk1 diesel exhaust manifold and a mk1 passenger side motor mount. Use whatever non-ac setup you have, they should both fit.
