It's been quite an epic trip thus far with lots of ups and downs. From broken rentals, to accidents, to getting lost we've experienced a lot. I'll tell the whole story later. But here are a few teasers from what I've seen thus far:

Stay tuned for the full story about the whole weekend in a few days. But for now I hope you guys enjoy these pics.

Follow us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/cncpics

    Thanks,

    -Leo

I made sure to keep up coverage at CnC for you Leo...

I arrived at 4:44 AM ( bad luck in Asian circles..) and sure enough, found a sign that said NO CNC THIS WEEK. (you know, since everyone was on Monterey)...

So I took a picture of the Taco Bell that doesn't open at 6 to sell breakfast burritos- before getting a hotel room in Costa Mesa and sleeping all day... (Pretty much true story)..

Here's a picture of what you missed:

Leo dropped enough hints that there was no CnC this week, including a picture of a sign that said there was no CnC this week.

The sad thing is that I KNEW there wasn't an event - I even told others that it would "closed" ... but it was the only day I had available to take care of business in Santa Ana so I had to drive down anyway. Somehow during my drive, I thought "hey, it's almost 6am, wonder what's going on at CnC?" - Doh!!

Great pics Leo- cant wait to hear the story...!

I know how you feel. Occasionally, I leave milk & cookies out for Santa Claus in July, because you always here about "Christmas in July", and he never comes.

I love that the engine is on display at eye-level.

After watching that video on the /Drive network about Koenigsegg, I gained a lot of respect for him and decided his car would be chosen for my wedding.

By the way, any time I see white pants, I feel like I wouldn't fit in.

It was a truly amazing weekend. I have to thank my friends Erik Reynolds and Dilan Birlastnametoocomplicated for showing me around and for helping make it one of the best weekend's EVER!

We went nuts and tried to cover EVERYTHING, which meant that I was awake for 43 hours slept 7 and then was awake for another 29. But a great time was had so it was all worth it. Sorry I haven't made any real updates today. But I was recovering a bit.

It's funny how many of those cars might just randomly show up at CnC...

I actually saw a ton of cars that I have seen at C&C, many of them were up for auction. I expect to see many of the cars that sold back at...or making their first appearance at C&C soon.

I last visited Monterey Car Week in '06, I did Concorso Italiano, Laguna Seca and Pebble Beach but this go around I skipped Concourso and went to Quail instead...sure wish I could've done both, plus Legends of the Autobahn.

I heard that Concorso really wasn't worth it at all. Had a few friends that went and they all called it a waste of time.

Holy hell the M8 prototype?! Like all these mystical legendary cars just come out of the wood work for these events! Thanks so much for sharing these.

Edit: Where's that awesome kid to give the Huayra its introduction.
