    I'm totally interested. I would use it for a parts car of sorts / swap car.

    You say it runs pretty good? Engine/trans/susp wise I just need it to be reliable. Possible to drive it away if I brought wheels?

    yeah it's totally drivable if you brought wheels. i know it was his daily for over a year and a half and he did the head gasket and bearings when he first got the car. he maintained the car and it was good for him while he had it.

    I was thinkin the same thing when I saw pics of the old golf the other day. Weird how that happens.
