new dyno numbers for the aba16vt coupe

We strapped the coupe back on the rollers after a few changes.. new 1.8 head with minor port work, and new intake manifold and stock cams.. 33 psi we made 501whp 387tq. We hope to run somewhere in the 10s. Best so far is 11.2@132

Why didn't you keep the 268's in it? Surely they must be better for rpm's?

Honestly i had a issue with the cam gears. Teeth all worn and didnt trust them. The power band with the stock cams carry right to 8k

worn or rounded, I have seen two distinct styles of those gears, ones with fairly pointy teeth and those with well rounded teeth (that look worn), but since the chain has no slack, neither seems to have any problems.
And that is a pretty good range for the stockers. I guess positive manifold pressure cures many things.
