After owning the car for about a year and a half (and a couple of bad decisions), I nutted up and lowered it. Ultimos with ECS 20mm and 10mm spacers. I might spin the perches down later but for now I'm letting them settle and getting used to lowered driving. Next up are some GLI valences/interior pieces and some other easy stuff since I'm going back to school.

    The goods

Buy a strut spreader tool unless you want to find out the hard way and make do with a chisel and too much time

    Done

    Looks good

But for future reference, not really thread worthy material.

Youll go lower and lower the more you get used to low driving. When i first lowered mine i was at 24ftg and i thought i was so low id be scraping but then after a month dropped it more down and now im at about 22ftg and axles are to the frame oil pan scrapes and lips pops off and i have a stock lip.
