did I accidentally the whole creek? yes i did. The way back was much more exciting than the way there.
(please ignore my buddy being all excited)

i would like to thank dunlop q2s, gsxr front end and f3 rear wheel for helping me make it across this puddle

haha, awesome. i don't even like doing water crossings on my mountain bike, and the few times i've done it on the klr, i stalled the engine. i don't know what i'm doing, though. i'd be afraid of dumping a bike like that.

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to speed around the city, keeping its speed over fifty, and if its speed dropped, the bus would explode! I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

gotta keep the revs up and the back wheel turning. it's harder to drop than you'd think. on knobbys it must be even easier.

i went into this with a NFG attitude expecting that maybe i'd be very wet and pushing the sv out of the creek

    Nicely done

Last two water crossings on my crf 250

    1. Was about to blast through a puddle, turned out to be about mid thigh before I stopped.

    2. Blasted through a little creek, nearly got bucked off when I hit the far bank, and ended up doing a superman to the top of the embankment.
Meanwhile a guy smoking and downing a beer on a quad idles through right after me

What's the difference between the DL650 V-Strom and the SV650? Not a helluva lot.

This is a local rider. I've yet to meet him.

Also featured in a Suzuki Newsletter after laying 120-something-k on his SV.

    Now he rides a V-Strom.

After owning both an SV and a VStrom, I'd gladly get another SV. They handle dirt just fine, the VStrom was just too top-heavy and not as nimble.

Yeah buddy, this is one of my favorite local loops. Instead of going on to sheep hole there is a bridge that is closed at the bottom of Headquarters that you can sneak through the jersey barriers and go up the other side of headquarters.

awesome, I've done most of those roads but never as a loop (i'm a bit south so that's kindof the destination side of most of my rides up there). And I do love the upper tinicum church road, it's sweeeeeet pavement
