Living in northern Cuba aka South Florida you never need heated seats IMO I guess hot cow is better than fake leather boat vinyl steaming your backside.


Oh and the powder it only works in northern states here in S. FLA. it turns into plaster or joint compound by the end of the day.

I wish cloth was a no-cost option and alcantara was an option for any leather seat car. The problem these days, as we all know, is that you cannot get cloth in any decently equipped car over $30K and cannot get cooled seats in most cars under $50K. Hopefully they fix that problem.

Yea unfortunately most higher end cars don't even offer cloth. They didn't offer cloth until the model year after mine. Also with used cars, I've found cloth tends to absorb the smell of whatever stinky person owned it before me. I wonder if alacantra would be better.

Anyways, air cooled seats is definitely high priority for the next car I get. I've even though about developing my own water cooled system to mount inside the seat, but then I realize I'd probably somehow die in a fiery crash because of it...

My body seems to have decided a few years back that my back, chest, and balls start sweating at the slightest hint of heat. They don't know the difference between a workout and driving half a mile to the grocery store on a hot summer day, even with the air on full blast. I have black leather seats - Never Again!

They're either like me, buying used cars and taking what they can get... or just crazy idiots with too much money, which are quite abundant down here.

Not to mention I've been going on car lots my whole life (both crap and luxury lots) and never once has a salesman mentioned cooled seats in a car. You'd think they'd realize this would be a huge selling point.
