Volkswagen has the same part number listed for both the EPG code and FDF code transmission. You do not have to flash anything to make it work. Just make sure all the codes the old transmission might have set off are cleared.

I had my 2.0 EPG transmission replaced because it was bad I had a guy replace it but put in a FDF transmission do I need a different TCM or get the 01M927733HM reprogrammed /flashed
If I need a different what model number TCM will I need?
