Hey guys! so It is finally time to get rid of my jetta and as such i am parting out my audio system. The System was design for sound quality competition. I am selling Audison Voce 3" mids as well as Audison Voce tweeters in custom designed dash pods. The dash pods are multiple thousands of dollars in labor and designed specifically for those drivers. They are made of fiberglass and finished with black Vinyl. The inside of the pods are coated with a single layer of 1/8" BBs. The BBs serve 2 purposes 1: they they make the pods heavy and completely resonance free. 2: they the spherical surface breaks up the back-wave off of the midrange cone. Along with the Pods come a dash insert which is made out of fiberglass and Bondo and painted black. In order to get a good center image i needed a flat dash and the insert effectively eliminates the little passenger side swoop above the airbag. (this does not in anyway effect the airbag operation btw) below are pictures of the enclosures and what they look like in a car. They were in my 98 jetta so they will work with mk3 jetta/golf ONLY. The advantage of having enclosures designed for your car is not only are they rattle free but designed to work with the geometry of our cars. If you went into a shop and asked them to build these exact same pods and dash insert you would probably be looking at 4k in labor not including the 800 dollar components. this setup does not include a midbass driver (the 6.5" for the door) I did not use the Voce Mid-bass for my system. I had them crossed over at 200hz fyi. If you have any questions let me know! I love car audio and would love to answer any questions you may have.
