You'd think with the frequency of this swap.. they'd be common place by now.

I am pretty sure, the "TALL BLOCK" they refer to is the ABA swap.

the MK1 8V header doesn't fits on an ABA nor does the ABA header clear the MK1 chassis.....

this is what TT suggested to use....downpipes with the ABA exhaust manifold...

I have been waiting for Raceland to do an 8v header and to no avail i was starting to get frustrated
started scouring online and went on ebay and found these for $199.00

figured its about what the raceland one would probably go for so why not?
now I have an ABA in my car so i wondered if it would fit due to the additional height!

well i got it today and and sure as schitt! it fits

clears the shifter perfectly and the rack as well

    only issue was this

which was easily corrected with 1 hand (literally)

product looks great for what i want
to obx and this seller (shipped in less than an hour of payin the dude)

I have the TT Header and ABA exhaust manfold,

The TT Header is made for this swap, and has meatier pipes than others, I'll hook you up, along with some other bits for your swap.

    175.00 shipped and its yours.

    Thats a steal.

the spacing between the ports on ALL 8v's is the same
2 of the 4 were off.. just my finger tips was enough to pull it into spec.

the thing i ran into with the raceland header is that not only wouldn't align but also wouldn't clear the the rack.....
