in my hatch i like to carry some stuff "just in case" such as: a few sockets and wrenches, torx, triple squares, teflon tape, spare air line, coilover wrenches, spare serpentine belt, flashlight, and an assortment of rags, bungee cords, and zip ties.

i try to leave the tool bag at home when im driving around town to save on the weight.

    re-wrapped tiguan spare
    flat tire kit
    spare lugs
    air tool/sacrificial replacement line
    air/manual bottle jack
    tire inflator attachment
    1/2" air ratchet attachment
    typical torx/metric fittings

    ZIP TIES!!!

    manual ratchet

obviously i'll be able to omit some of this when i'm close to home... or just keep it in the lady's beetle

A wash bag, torx wrenches and coilover wrench is all I carry. Who likes to waste gas with extra weight.

    - Spanner wrenches
    - Breaker bar
    - 19mm socket and extension (for lug nuts)
    - Gerber multi-tool
    - Two sizes of zipties
    - OEM jack (obviously)

Those, to me, are all the neccessities. Anything requiring more, I call AAA (or my brother). When I drove to WiTW, I brought my three drawer box and floor jack.
