I would call up VWOA and tell them that the bumper on my super rare Golf R did not need to be fixed with a screwdriver and they owe me a new car worth twice as much.

To anyone in the Grand Rapids area, my hybrid will be parked in the Meijer parking lot on East Beltline tonight, keys in it, $1000 cash in the trunk, I will be inside and unaware that you are going to take it for a test drive and never return.

    I am kidding.

... Oh, I've had this thought so many times. Considering Cleveland has only one officer on automotive theft in the entire city ... yeah, you can see where my thoughts have gone.

I'd likely murder the person that ran into me, along with whoever was in the car with them.... spend a few days being super pissed.... then go order a 2013 GT500.

Yes, but you must've been hosed on a deal to be that underwater where you need gap insurance on a $10,000 car ...

I'd be thanking deities that I don't even, umm...? Praise? Bow down to? Recognize? Hmm, what does one "do" with a deity?

Anyway, I'd be thrilled if that happened. I strongly dislike this car.

    Ha. I'd ask for a R8 V10 instead.

    I'd be pretty distraught...

I really like my 2008 and the Titanium models, spec'ed out the way I would like are hard to find.

The other two are worth more to me alive than dead...

    I wouldn't care. I'd just buy a S2000 CR.

    **your**
    God damn it.

Anyway, I'd be kinda sad. I like my little jetta. But I'd probably get over it really soon and buy a new Golf TDI.

Trust me it is MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE, I have no idea how I did it. (Is that something a mod could fix? it drives me nuts every time I look at it.)

I mentioned in my OP that I wouldn't mind if my car was totaled. I voted the last option though. My car totaled is worth more than I could ever sell it for (A lot of maintenance stuff coming up) plus having recently dropped $2100 to have the head machined after the timing belt broke a week before I was going to bring it for service I am convinced my car hates me, so I am doing it no favors for now on.

Yes, since I bought it used a bit over a year ago.

Good riddance. I'd be borderline thrilled. But then again, I drive a beater-status 12 year old Mazda.
