I have a friend with a mkV rabbit who has purchased his management and now just needs bags and a few odds and ends. He is having buyers remorse and is worried about reliability he has been slammed on coils for 4 years with zero problems and is nervous about bagging his daily in MD with Snow and 4 seasons and all the other variables with bags.

How long have you been bagged for?

    Whats your set up?

Stop murdering out your car, unless you wanna put a DUB emblem on it.

There was something similar just a little while ago.

I'm on airlift bags, with e-level for management, 2 compressors and a nice sized tank.

    Oops, since April 2012

Just shy of a year including one winter and a lot of miles, I haven't changed any parts except front struts because I got a good deal on a awesome set of struts.

Never been stranded, I have zero air leaks including driving for hours on end without losing any pressure in the bags or ride height.

Big rigs have been running air suspension, brakes, shifters, and accessories for years.

As long as the parts are quality and the install is clean and professional it will be perfectly reliable and last quite some time.

4 years now, 3 winters in NJ never had a freezing valve

only blew 3 bags (airlift) blew 2 sets of shocks (airlift)

and blew 3 axles, (1 oem, 2 aftermarket)

I changed my rear setup earlier this year from airlift rear bags to air house 2's and bilstien shocks

well airlift XL rears suck, if not installed perfectly centered, they will rub control arm or shock bolt

plus my car was the first install i've ever done, you live and you learn, now i refuse to install airlift rears, ss5s, RE5s, air house 2s, or classics are the only way to go

3 years, 40,000 miles...yeah I drive alot apparently. Same bagyards front and rear, same rear bilstein shocks, same dual 480s, two management systems: 1 year autopilot, 2 years e-level. My reliability has been better than any set of coils I've had in NJ without the ruined fenders, bumpers, oil pans and subframes. Mr. Robles touched on the key point, the reliability is in the install

Just about 2 years, 4 psi per day leak on my passenger rear bag I've been to lazy to fix. Other than a blown fuse, no other issues, though I think my passenger side axle is about to take a crap on me.

Almost 5 years now, changed my setup twice but only because I got bored.

Just this month replaced my first bag (rear) after 5 years of installation.
