About to buy mk4 but need to know...

ok so this person is selling their 2003 jetta vr6 5 speed. but the ac compressor locked up so it burns belt off...
and i tried to look up if i can run with the belt for non ac with the compressor there.
So can i run the belt 5070505(belt for non-ac) with ac comp. still installed? I just need to get it home (about 1 hr drive)
