plans for 2012 season are a bit more power, not that its needed but 700 was the goal when the project began...and why ****ing not right?

wider street rubber in hopes that the car can go mid 10's on STREET tires, i believe the current Audi record for that is 10.5's done by the 034 VRT A4. then to kiss the 9's on some slicks, and after that just cruise around the streets and enjoy the car. a front torsen diff to replace the stock open one. new paint, new engine bay scheme, new interior setup/dash and have more fun.

when i first built the car one of the main things i made sure of was that almost everything was easy to replace, tweak, tighten, loosen, check. theres nothing ****tier then working on a car like this and having to be a contortionist just to yank an alternator or a crank sensor. i will be getting some pics soon with my DSLR instead of just my iphone and ill be sure to post them up in here when i do, thanks for the kind words. car weighed with me in it last year 2880 on the scales at Etown, im about 165 and the car had the 12 gallon fuel cell pretty much full with e85. added some weight this year im sure though with the new exhaust and the different wheel/tire combo.

034 went 10.5x on continental street tires in their vr6t a4, so that's the number that I'm gunning for on true street tires.

**** yo! No worries I wouldntve gone anyway, we are still taking street logs and upping the boost little by little til we can get back to where it was last year, or until it just gets to ridiculous for the street, before I take it to the track.

ya, i wasnt too upset about it really considering its a 1000...especially at 32psi. only thing keeping me there is just that we are upping the boost little by little from last years map with the 3658 cams vs the 3652s that are in there now. i will say it feels like a whole nother animal up top though with the newer cams, thing seems like it wants to just pull for days. i ran this same bike last year and got walked pretty hard at 34psi, so for me this was really just more of a test to see where the car was compared to last year, hahaha....until i make it to the track.

makes me happy about my 52s in my car. do want to try the IE cams... 32 pfft i hit 40 on the way to work this morning wonder what the limit of head bolts and E85 is... May be selling the truck real soon i'll miss 40-60 psi lol

made it to the track last week. first pass hit my personal best et and bettered my best mph from last fall, on 6 psi less boost. it became apparent to me after the second pass that i coudlnt launch the car to save my life, and it was just all downhill from there. i will be hitting the track next sunday at show and go, and hopefully get **** done this time around.

the car was raping second gear....yet it never did that on the street, and still hasnt after practicing launching and the 1-2 shift yesterday afternoon. i think ive got it figured out though for next weekend down at englishtown, we shall see.

ya it does, which is odd because you certainly dont feel that in the car. i think its more of the camera moving around a bit, and the intake tube flopping around....giving your eye the illusion of the motor rocking all around. but i could be wrong.
