Just read today that VW is mulling around the idea of building a "Carbon GTI" utilizing lightweight materials throughout the chassis. It would bring the curb weight down to just under 2,500 lbs. Nice to see them trying to trim some of the fat!

yes, lets discuss your feelings... Wait lets not.
joey mod the red stripes black. no wait, continue them up the sides. then rust inhibit the bottom half and mirror polish the top half, three coats of candy clear. 21.5 inch steelies from school bus (chromed of course). bags are for groceries so $5000 name brand coilovers, because coilovers are like jordans. you get what you pay for(status in the black community). and since were going to max them out we need them to be race quality. big turb, stage 3, burberry downpipe, chrome muffler bearings etc. etc. you know the usual.

Its definately an improvement.

Seemed like they managed to get that one set up as a tail-happy little bugger. Dorifto GTI! I definitely like the idea of the car going to Jenny Craig to counteract the fat genes that settled in the family with the Mk 4, 5, and 6s.

Interesting I haven't seen any word of that so far. I did hear that the RS6 Avant will be available late next year for special order, but even if it hit our shores it would still be a dream for me.

Ive been tossing around the idea of getting rid of my 09 GTI & getting something newer like a CC or possibly a GLI but I think I'm going to wait till new GTI comes out. I'm a big fan of the styling.
