Anyone here who is experienced installing these units in VW CC? I have a few questions. I would drive to the city if I can get it done in a short time waiting. I really want someone who knows what their doing. Please PM me.

Just install it yourself. It's very easy. You only need a few tools which are available just about anywhere.

I dont want to be the idiot who touches the wrong wire. Im open to even traveling a reasonable distance if it can be done while on site.

I also receiving a backup camera but can wait to install.

You can't really screw it up. Just unplug the harness and plug it into the rns. If you have a 2009 with an aux input you'll need to move a few wires, but all you need is a paperclip.

There are writeups all over the place. Just install it then use the vagcom locator to find someone to reprogram it. Trust me, I've walked people throught it over the phone. I bet my 10 year old could do it using a writeup.

I have a compass so that needs to be removed. Theres a writeup for a hatchback GTI I think. The radio part doesnt look hard but I not sure how my bluetooth + parking sensors + Sirius come into play. If I do it I will probably make a CC writeup.

My original radio is up for sale too.

You should look in the CC forum. There are some users that did it already. If you need VAG-Com I will do it for you but im in 11103.

Thanks for the volunteer. I have someone else close to you willing to do vag com if neccessary. PM me with info. Because I may just do it this weekend if the last few remaining parts show up in mail today or tomorrow. Roads should be pretty clear this weekend.
