this was an ungodly steep incline going down into a garage. like \
I had over half a tank of gas.
I was easing down onto the level road, as to not scrape, I had the clutch completely depressed and the car stalled.
When I restarted the car it took a while to turn over and came on with the CEL.
It's gone now. car starts fine ever since I left satan's garage.

Think it was just confused about the fuel for a little bit given the incline?
    never had it happen..

Makes me think there might be some cut off in case the car rolls or something? Prolly have to be a hell
Of an angle for that though.

Is the fuel pickup in the front or back of the tank?

    I'm wondering the same thing.
    It was STEEP.
The cutoff in case it rolls thing makes sense.
I mean in mk4s next to the moon roof there's an allen key for cranking it open if you go under water. Ha

That's in case the battery dies and you need to manually close the roof, not for if you go under water
