Let's see whos got the highest milage with stock clutch on their 1.8t.

List any engine mods you have.

    I'll start,
    2005 GTI
Milage: 65k, chipped and exhaust since 18k. Clutch still running strong, never had slippage.

222k miles on my dual mass before I replaced it a few weeks ago. Single mass 20lb, vr disc and pp......and I don't like it. The duall mass was obviously much quieter and quite a bit smoother.

Still on stock clutch at ~85k. Bought the car entirely unmolested at ~54k and immediately flashed it and added the typical I/E and other ****. First standard car I've ever owned, but clutch seems to be holding strong as far as I can tell.

Sadly, my stock clutch gave out at 12k miles back in 2001. I've had a g60 clutch with the 14lb flywheel on there since. I'm on my 3rd clutch now at 122k miles, now with a t3s60 turbo at 20psi, with several other supporting mods, rods, fmic, etc. I'm running the stage 2 now from ecs tuning.

I didnt know if mine had a stock clutch in it until I went to replace it. Had a spec stage one or two clutch with a 12lb flywheel. Replaced with a F1 Racing stage 3, 6 puck with a 10lb flywheel. absolutely love it! current mods are...chipped, 3' downpipe to borla muffle, with high flow cat, cold air intake, forge 007, ported polished ko3s/intake manifold.

'04 GTI stock 1.8T 5-speed, 78,000 miles and clutch feels just fine. Basically learned stickshift on this car (and taught a few others too along the way).

I plan on bt in the spring and i wana use the power

    Mk.I Audi TT 180 Quattro (K03 engine, 3-shaft 5-speed AWD transmission).

Stock clutch at 112,000 miles and counting. Do the Quattro clutches (from the 3-shaft 5-n'-6-speed gearboxes) last longer because they're slightly bigger?

I've had both GIAC X+ n' Unitronic Stage 1+ software, a 42 Draft Design downpipe n' test pipe, FMIC, Forge P007, WAC-Box, n' I'll be going Stage 2 and Forge TIP soon.

with my stage 3, F1 racing stage 3 6 puck, you have to baby it a LOT going through parking lots, traffic jams etc....pretty stiff. Not all that street friendly if you live in a big city. but other than that. It grabs really good, havent had any problems with it.

Not in this car, but I used F1 Racing's 6-puck before.

I engaged it at 2,000 RPMs (where as full face disks I engaged at just over 1,000) n' it would feel near-stock IMO (some people would call that a crazy opinion, but after learning to just engage it at a higher RPM than OEM clutches, the horror of daily driving a 6-puck seemed mostly hype) (it will jutter like nobody's business if you engage it low though)

2003 2.0 5speed with 130 still on the factory clutch. If it survives teaching my brother stick, I'll be happy. Hopefully go with a lightweight flywheel next time around.

06 A3 113k miles of abuse on and off the strip and still holding up. Had what felt like slip a few thousand miles ago, but now it grips like a damn spider monkey.

full bolt on, stage 2+, larger HPFP, WM injection, mounts, short shifter, billet shifter brackets, etc etc.

I got a free Spec flywheel though, so I think Ill just change it out here soon, just not sure what "stage" i want... thinking 2+ or 3.
