SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

      All,

I am selling my KW V1 Coilovers. I am the original owner and have had them on the car for 7,000 miles. They are in great condition and are in perfect working order.

The only issue is that one of the 2mm allen screws used to lock the adjustable collar is stripped. I called KW and they will ship out a new collar for $30.

I am asking for $800 for this coilover kit in original box. If you are local and can pickup, I will cut you some slack since I would not have to ship them out.

Here are some pictures I took a few months back when I received them:

Here is a picture I took of them just now (sorry it is iphone quality but you get the idea):

Let me know if you have any questions.

      Thanks!

So tempting, especially since im local. I am also curious about the ride. Im on H&R springs with FSD shocks. Love the ride, but I want to go lower.

I cannot say as I have always owned KW, I can tell you that in comparison to stock, they actually ride better, less harsh, they feel more controlled, just the right amount of road feedback, less body roll.

I could not have been more pleased. I had V3's on my GTI and the V1 is a much better balance for DD with spirited drives on weekends.

      Hey VR64ANT,

Since they are already in box I cannot take you for a ride. I cannot really compare to your current setup however I can say the improvements over stock were noticed on my very first drive after install.

Less body roll, improved feel and comfort level, you basically get great road feedback but without the harshness of the stock setup. I actually considered the V1 a comfort upgrade from stock believe it or not.

I did ride on FSDs for a while on my MK4 R32 and I did like them, but did not purchase them again for my MK5 R32. I found them to be a bit unpredictable in comparison, for the most part the FSD magic was really nice, but I did not feel it was always making the right choice.

I do prefer the fixed compression/rebound coupled with the progressive springs that keep things comfy for real world driving. I also really wanted the ability to dial in my ride height to exactly what I wanted for visual satisfaction.

If you decide you want to pick them up I will definitely cut you some slack on the price since I won't need to ship them out. So take that as some incentive.

Please PM me if you have further questions or if you want to drop by to pickup.

      Thanks!

Nah, I do not like buying brand new cars. I am looking at the B8 A4. And to be honest, the fact that the Golf-R has the old 2.0T motor with fuel pump issues... well, it really made me scratch the MK6 R off the list of potential cars.

A real pity though because I love the golf platform.

what is the adjustment rate ride height wise.. I want to lower the car but I do not want to lose the comfort and drive-ability and often considered KW's as a lot of my friends have them. How long do these go?

Range of lowering is 0.8-1.7" for the front and 0.4-1.4" for the rear.
