Just watched the race.
I like Grosjean but what he did was completely idiotic.
As for Maldonado, he's such a liability that I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves F1 soon. I can't imagine that many of the teams would want him.
Awesome drive by Button.![]()

RG is just as bad as PM at this point, and he's supposedly the more experienced.
Fantastic drive from Vettel.
Faultless drive from Button, but damn, those McLaren pit stops are getting ridiculous. 2.6 seconds again?

RG has had first lap crashes in almost half of his F1 starts...that's not a stat you want to put next to your name. Did he really think no one would be next to him AT THE START OF THE RACE?!?!? Pastor is about the same. He seems to find things to do wrong or crash into horribly slower cars or directly into the side of others. Anyway, moving on...
Button dominated that race with ease...now the question is if he can continue that kind of performance the rest of the season and make the championship that much closer? I was hoping Kimi was going to pressure for the win a lot than he did, still a good race for them, but you can't help but wonder if he would've been on the podium if half of the front runners weren't taken out at the start. However the pass he made going into Eau Rouge was unreal and sneaky with the DRS zone...IF he planned that he's smarter than I thought or lucky. Vettel had a great race charging back through the field too.
I was glad to see STR and Force India pick up points that were left dangling there for anyone's taking when so many cars crashed out.
Spa never fails to produce some great races. Let's hope it never leaves the F1 calendar again!

C'mon, that was retroactively. He lost all points he scored in the 1997 season but Ferrari was able to keep all constructor's point.
He was allowed to race a full 1998 season.
