swapping upgraded stereo system into 2009 jetta

I am thinking about trying to swap the stereo from a newer jetta into my '09. I would like to track down a system with nav, touch screen etc. (if I can find one).
Is this a fairly straight forward swap?

Don't mean to disturb the krickets on this thread
but here is a web page i found of oem like chinese stereos for mk5's that you could inquire and buy, I have heard they are direct swaps. There is a guy on tdi-club.com selling one. I am researching the same topic but not sure if I will ever need one if I am able to land a 2010 but if I do I may buy one....good luck and your search.

it is not a plug and play swap. nav needs parts and coding,an some other stuff
