A Lot To Cary from Buford | GA Caravan to 2nd Annual Oktoberfest

Looking to set up a caravan to BFI from the Buford/Hamilton Mill area for the show. Here's what I'm thinkin:

• It's a 6 hour drive, and I hate early morn caravans on the day of events.
• Most people will be coming up (North) I-85 anyways.
• Post-Lunch meet & greet in Hamilton Mill

There's a Walmart on Sardis Church Road that would be great place to meet. There's a Chili's and Barberitos on the other side for those that want to chow down some lunch first.

Meet at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 12th and caravan up from Walmart to our hotel destinations in/around Cary, NC.

Very cool! Post a picture when you can. I'm going to post up a map of our route later today. The departure time from Buford, GA may change for Friday, but not sure yet.

It's been brought to my attention that leaving at 11:00 AM would put us in Charlotte around 3:00 PM.

That should make meeting up with KellyMcLain in Gastonia hopefully a little easier around 2:30/2:45 PM.

I have a MK6 Jetta, looking for some simple things like enabling full functionality with the euro switch for starters. I'll probably pick up a euro switch from BFI amongst other things when I get there. I also want to be able roll the windows up and down from my key. (Saw a buddy with a MK6 GLI VAG-COM coded achieve this). I'll think of some other things and make a list!

Very cool. If they didn't change too much, the process should be the same as the Mk5s, but I'll still have to look up the process for that - only done it once or twice.

Kelly wanted to have a pin-point meet with us on the way up, so I decided to have a stop planned for the Westfield Eastridge shopping mall - there's a Captain D's out front on N. New Hope Road, so we'll be meeting in the parking lot there.
