Alright, so who's going to this? And if you're going, are you registering your Fox?
I'm undecided. I'll go for sure, but not sure if I'll enter.....

For SHHOOO-RE you should enter BOXY...!!! YOUR FOX IS CLEAN MAN...!!! Just hope that ALAIN and ADAM get STUCK in TRAFFIC or LOST or something...!!! I MIGHT be able to make it; just to hang out with YOU guys for an afternoon, and to get out of the city for a day....

I WON'T be ENTERING either of my Wagons....they are barely capable of entering TRAFFIC.....(let alone a beauty contest)

One thing is for certain; ....if you DON't enter..... you WON'T KNOW where you stand as far as entered FOXES in the area go....how many could there POSSIBLY BE...?!? You know at least TWO aren't going to be in the running...(maybe one day)...that HAS to INCREASE YOUR ODDS by a FEW % POINTS anyway.....!!!

    ....you should enter.....do it.....dooo itt.....DOO IT......DEW-ITT!!!

I'm planning on going. I don't know what the policy is regarding the number of cars needed to have a class at Berlin Klassik. I will try to find out and will post back. At the very least I'll be entering Exhibition so my Fox is on show grounds.

Awesome! I'm taking my Fox as well, registered and paid. Please do report back, Adam - I registered into the judged area, and depending on what you two end up doing I could switch to exhibition so we're all together. Looking forward to seeing you two there!

Here's what I found out: There won't be a dedicated Fox class this year and any Foxes registered for show will be judged in the Passat class. In the future if we want a Fox class it will require a minimum of 4 cars and we should let them know ahead of time so they'll set up a class for us. Online registration closes tonight (Thursday, September 6, 2012) at 8pm Eastern but registration at the door will still be available on the day of the show.

I'm going to register my Fox for the show. Parking will be set up such that all exhibition cars will be together and all show cars of the same brand will be together (i.e. all VW aircooled will be parked together, all VW watercooled together, all Audis together, etc.). We'll have to try and save some spots if we want to be parked together.

I'll post back once I figure out when I'll be driving down.

Cool, but looks like I'll be registering at the doors..... seeing that it's past the online registration time!

So Adam and Alain, you will both be in the judged class?

Regardless, see you Sunday! And I'm bringing Rob too. Should be a good day, rain or shine!

    Kevin, you coming?

I am going to try and make it to the show before gates open for show cars (gates open at 9am).

Both Alain and I are registered for the show so I'll try to save 3 spots together so we'll be parked beside one another. See you guys there tomorrow!

Unfortunately....I`m NOT going to be able to make the show....I have been plagued with rear brake issues....self adjusting wedge on right side WON`T retract....have to remove a lug bolt, put in a screwdriver and pop the wedge out to release the brake, then as soon as I touch the pedal; it locks again....gotta wait til Monday to see Henry for parts.....Can`t even take Woody II....heater core is done....

YOU GUYS HAVE A GREAT TIME.....hope the weather cooperates....again, my regrets for NOT being able to make it....

I have some recruiting to do.....seems there is ANOTHER person in Toronto with TWO FOX WAGONS.....somewhere around the Yonge/Sheppard area....when mobile again; will MOST CERTAINLY have to drop by to say Hello....

ENJOY THE DAY GENTS...!!! Perhaps I will have my fecal matter assembled NEXT TIME....!!!!

Sorry to hear, Kevin! Hope you can fix the problem - if you can't free things up inside your drums and work with them, you could hit the junkyards, the rear drums from an Mk2 Golf or Jetta should be a direct fit and same size. John, when I gave you those rear shoes, did you also get the shoe keeper kit? That may be what Kevin needs - all the springs and retainers etc - though that kit was for sedan-sized drums, many parts from it may work on the wagon I think.

Anyway the show was good!! Awesome to see you folks!

Cool, thanks for posting the photos man!
Regarding the rear drum kit that Kevin might need, I'll have a look tomorrow. If I got 'em, they're his
