Hi everyone, new to the forum and had a couple questions..
I recently picked up an 01 golf gls and have been worki.g on.it..

Is there a way to check if the security system is still working with out the FOB key? I only received the valet key with the car. I do plan on ordering a FOB pretty soon but wanted to.check the security system first. Also, my driver door will not lock with the valet key, I put the key in the door and it just keeps turning and turning yet the driver door wil automatically lock when im driving, is that an issue with the locking mech. in the door or something with my key? As for my hatch, that isn't locking either nor is it opening with the button in driver door. Any pointers??
