It's got totally different vvt, that's the main difference. Lots of the accy's are different on the Eurovan due to how the motor sits in the car. I would think you'd have to use the Mk4 accessories.

hello, I just picked up a 24V out of a Eurovan the other day, and I've been sourceing some parts to make it work in my 93 SLC Corrado..
such as the intake manifold, valve cover, and belt tensioner, etc..
I installed a stock MKIV intake manifold on it, and noticed the belt tensioner hits the intake, the secondary air pump sits where the throttle body goes, etc..
so my question is, how different are these motors.? (MKIV to Eurovan)
hopefully its as easy as just swapping in some accessories and moving on with my life..
any thoughts and/or ideas would be appreciated, thank you

I was under the impression that the 2.8l 24v AXK from the eurovan didn't have vvt like the BDF in golf's and jetta's.

I suspect the core engine might be very similar to the European market AUE engine, which was the predecessor to the BDF 24V. They don't have full VVT (but apparently that was introduced for emissions, and makes no difference to performance), and have a single coilpack instead of coil-on-plug.
Does the Eurovan 24V engine have a single coilpack or coil-on-plug??

Early ones are definitely coilpack and only on/off vvt on the intake.
