Just so you know this is the internet and I may sound like a condescending prick (and sometimes I am) but it's just that I hold a very high regard for the CC - If I didnt buy my A8 that was gonna be next on the list - im just bummed that you'd make such a big compromise for a luxury car. I imagine people looking at your car and saying wow that's a great looking Volkwagen - then you pile in and head to your destination and people are like this drives like sheet. All you can say is "the internets says their good enough"

As I said before people will defend their purchases to the death - or say their "good enough" or "all coilovers ride crappy when low' when that simply isnt the case... Adam has it right - get a set of stock CC springs from him and cut them for free. You are accomplishing the same thing.

This thread is an unfortunate example of what I deal with on a daily basis- I try to share the knowledge I have from practical application and personal experience but the internetz says their great so it must be true.

what i learned from this thread

    = $$$ as a method of payment

Ksport, vmaxx, raceland, rokkor, FK are not quality suspension kits

    the "interweb" lies to people

Malaysian R&D team for suspension engineering uses sewing machines to calculate spring rates and valve dampening

"Derek" is spelled with an "ek" in the end and not "ick"
