    its a "real" gti because we got the gti in canada in 1979.

    So here is the deal.

    I am in the Air Force and will be home for another week, then off for training for 2 weeks,
    I will be able to access my email and check messages from the vortex.

    I am gone in October from the 9th to the middle of December, where I won't be able to check
    messages that often.

    So if you are interested in the car don't sit around and wait and see if I will lower the price
    or ....

    I won't even answer lowball offers, so don't waste your time.

    I don't need the money, I just don't have the time for this car anymore and would like to see it
    go to somebody that will make it what it should be.

    Oh I understand that, I wouldn't expect you to haha. My concern is that these cars never existed in the US, if it was just a rabbit it wouldn't be an issue, but a '79 GTI was never federalized. I'm sure it'd never smog, but that's not my major concern ha.

    I don't think it matters that it its an GTI, you can register it as a rabbit.
    they had 79 Rabbits in the US.
