1984 JETTA DIESEL 1.6
Was originally non-turbo - converted using k04 eclipse turbo
i traded this car for a mk3 vr6 i had - now i am moving and dont have time to sort it
head gasket leaks oil - out front of head - under the 3rd injector / glow plug line ( there is some silicone there in an attempt to stop it ) it fires up and drives but obviously cant drive it with it leaking oil.
180k on odometer - turbo conversion been on for a year maybe, according to previous owner.
body is super clean for its age - no rot / rust - non sunroof - clean interior as well.
has some affordable coil-overs - not sure of brand.
$2000 OBRO - might trade for something that goes under it own power already that doesnt need work.
I just bought all the parts and tool to fix this - just havent had time -

Bump!
This is a very close friend of mine's old car. drove this beast before it was turbo'd from Iowa to Indiana to pick up my ECOdiesel. great times in this car... I was sad to see it go. Hope the next owner enjoys it as much as he did![]()
